Check the garment measurements on the product page rather than relying on the size label. Measure a piece you already own that fits the way you like, and compare those dimensions to the garment measurements listed. That comparison is more reliable than any size chart. If you're still on the fence, go up for structured or slim-fit pieces - they have less ease built in. For relaxed and oversized fits, either direction works depending on how you want it to sit.

"True to size" means something different at every brand, which is exactly why we don't ask you to trust that phrase. Every product page includes actual garment measurements - the dimensions of the physical piece. Compare those to something you own that fits well. That's a more useful answer than any size label.

Use a soft fabric tape measure, not a metal one. Wear fitted clothing or underwear - nothing bulky. Stand straight and relaxed. Measure your bust at the fullest point, your waist at the narrowest point (usually about an inch above your navel), and your hips at the fullest point. Keep the tape snug but not compressing. Measure twice.

Days 1–7 after delivery: email us at contact@lumistelle.com and we'll issue a full refund to your original payment method and send a prepaid return label. Items must be unworn, unwashed, and in original condition with tags attached.

Days 8–30: you keep the item. Email us with a photo and we'll issue full store credit to your account the same day - it never expires and applies to anything in the catalog.

Yes, and it matters more than the size label. Stretch fabrics like jersey and ribbed knit have give - a slim fit in jersey moves with you. Woven fabrics like cotton poplin and linen are more structured - they sit closer to the measurements with less flexibility. We note fabric composition and stretch on every product page. Read it before you order, especially on fitted styles.

There's no direct swap process - but store credit works the same way. If your item falls within the return window (days 1–7), we issue a full refund and you reorder in the correct size. If you're in the days 8–30 window, you keep the item and we issue full store credit the same day you contact us. Use it to order the size that works. Natural and semi-natural fibers - cotton, rayon, viscose, linen, modal - can shift slightly with heat and agitation. To maintain fit: cold water, gentle cycle, lay flat or hang to dry. Avoid the dryer on high heat. The care label on each piece has the specific instructions - follow it, and the fit should hold.
