Material Composition
50% cotton and 50% lyocell. Cotton provides structure - it holds its shape, breathes well, and takes the white color cleanly. Lyocell (also produced under the Tencel brand name) is a semi-synthetic fiber derived from wood pulp - it drapes more softly than cotton alone and adds a subtle sheen to the fabric surface. The 50/50 blend combines the wash durability of cotton with the softer drape of lyocell. The result is a fabric that feels substantial without being stiff, and that softens slightly with each wash cycle.
Construction Details
Round neckline with a geometric cutwork lace yoke panel that spans the upper chest and shoulders - the lace is sheer and provides a textural contrast to the solid fabric below. Below the yoke, the bodice is solid fabric with a gathered transition seam into the first skirt tier. The skirt has two tiers of gathered fabric - a shorter upper tier and a deeper lower tier with a slight hem ruffle. The 3/4 sleeves are balloon-shaped through the arm and finish with an elasticized gathered cuff. Side seam pockets are integrated at the hip. Not lined. Closure appears to be pullover.

Care Instructions
Machine wash cold, tumble dry low. Cold washing preserves the white and prevents the lyocell component from losing its soft drape - following these instructions will keep the fabric crisp and the lace yoke intact.
