The belt is structural - integrated with grommet loops that allow it to thread and buckle at the front, not a removable add-on. Rayon gives these a softer, more draped hand than cotton, which makes the fit read closer to tailored trouser shorts than a casual cutoff despite the cargo-pocket construction. Material Composition

95% rayon, 5% polyester. Rayon is a semi-natural fiber derived from plant cellulose - it drapes softly, is lighter in hand than cotton, and sits more fluidly against the body. The 5% polyester contributes durability and helps the fabric maintain its shape through wear. Despite the product's original "denim" title, the material composition and hand feel are distinct from cotton denim - these wear more like woven trouser shorts than stiff denim cutoffs.

Construction Details

High-waist cut with a structured waistband. The grommet belt is threaded through eyelet loops integrated into the waistband at the front and fastens with a metal buckle - it is part of the waistband construction, not a detachable belt. Two large patch pockets sit on the front panel with button/snap closures at the top edge. Front closure includes button/snap hardware at the waistband. The fabric has a woven twill-like appearance in rayon rather than cotton denim. No stretch throughout.

Machine wash cold, tumble dry low. Rayon is sensitive to heat - cold wash and low heat drying prevent shrinkage and preserve the drape of the fabric, particularly in the waistband area where the grommet belt hardware creates concentrated stress points.
