Material Composition
This short is 95% cotton with 5% spandex. The cotton concentration provides the weight, texture, and structural integrity typical of traditional denim - it gives the fabric its substance and ensures the waistband holds its shape through extended wear without sagging or rolling. The 5% spandex introduces a controlled stretch that eases movement through the seat and thigh without compromising the overall fit structure. At this fiber ratio, the cotton's properties dominate entirely: the fabric behaves as denim, with the spandex most noticeable at points of movement rather than in the overall hand of the material. The medium-blue wash with acid-wash variation gives the surface its depth and uneven finish.
Construction Details
High-waist cut with button-and-zip fly closure and belt loops (image-inferred). Standard 5-pocket construction with side slash pockets and back pockets (image-inferred). The primary construction feature is the distress work - heavy abrasion runs through the body panels with whisker fading extending diagonally from the front rise across both thighs. The raw hem carries a substantial fray across the full cut width, with distress deep enough to expose the weft threads along the lower edge. The medium-blue wash with acid-wash variation reads slightly darker than a classic light wash.

Care Instructions
Machine wash cold. Tumble dry low. Cold washing preserves the medium-blue wash depth and prevents premature fading. Low-heat drying protects the spandex content over repeated wash cycles - high heat degrades spandex elasticity over time, which can result in the waistband losing its structure and recovery.
