Material Composition
The fabric is 95% rayon and 5% spandex with a denim-look twill finish. Rayon is a semi-natural fiber derived from plant cellulose, giving it a natural drape and breathability similar to cotton - it moves more freely and weighs less than woven cotton denim. The 5% spandex content provides the slight stretch noted in the product data, allowing the waistband and hip to flex with movement while recovering their shape. Despite the denim-look surface texture and the vendor's "denim" title, the construction is rayon-based - the drape and feel differ meaningfully from traditional woven cotton denim.
Construction Details
A high-rise waistband closes with a single button at the center front with belt loops running along the waistband. Two large open patch pockets are the defining construction detail - they sit flat against the front of the shorts and are deep enough to be functional.
