It is lighter than cotton and drapes with more fluidity, which makes this jacket softer against the body and lighter in feel than a cotton-blend jacket at a comparable visual weight. The 5% polyester component contributes shape retention. Note: Rayon can shrink if exposed to high wash temperatures - cold wash is particularly important for this composition.
