Material Composition
95% rayon, 5% polyester. Despite the denim-wash finish and construction style, the base fabric is rayon - a semi-natural fiber derived from plant cellulose. Rayon is notably lighter and more breathable than cotton denim, with a softer hand and a more fluid drape that moves differently on the body. The 5% polyester helps stabilize the fabric and adds durability at seam points. No-stretch construction means the fit is structured despite the softness of the base fiber. Customers familiar with cotton denim will notice the rayon version feels lighter and less rigid in both hand and wear.
Construction Details
Bermuda-length shorts in a medium blue denim-wash finish. The defining construction feature is the asymmetrical diagonal crossover waistband - one side wraps over the other at an angle and is secured with a button closure (image-inferred). This creates a visual diagonal line across the hip rather than a standard horizontal waist seam. Raw, frayed hem at the bottom edge. Side pockets (image-inferred). Standard topstitching at waistband and seams consistent with denim-style construction. No lining.

Care Instructions
Machine wash cold, tumble dry low. Rayon is sensitive to heat, so cold water washing is particularly important for this fabric - it helps prevent shrinkage and maintains the fiber's natural softness and drape. Tumble dry low rather than high heat; high heat can cause rayon to shrink or stiffen and will degrade the fabric's hand over time.
