Material Composition
This skort is made from 95% rayon and 5% polyester. Rayon is a semi-synthetic fiber derived from cellulose that drapes and moves more fluidly than woven denim - it has a softer hand, lighter weight, and more fluid fall. The 5% polyester adds a small amount of structural stability. The no-stretch composition holds the waist shape and pleat definition without elongating, though rayon can wrinkle and benefits from lower heat in care.
Construction Details
The skort features a high-waist waistband that sits above the natural waist. The front panel is pleated - multiple folds of fabric creating the skirt-like silhouette visible from the front and sides. A diagonal five-button closure runs from the waistband down across the face of the front panel, with silver-toned metal buttons. The hem is raw-cut with visible fraying at the edge. Built-in shorts are cut beneath the front panel to provide coverage from all angles. Functional pockets are included, with placement likely at the side seams based on the construction type.
