The 27.5% polyester adds meaningful durability and helps the wide-leg silhouette maintain its shape over repeated wear; polyester at this percentage also contributes to the fabric's color retention across washes. The 1.5% elastane is a small but practical addition, delivering enough stretch recovery to keep the waistband and leg comfortable through a full day without the fabric stiffening or the silhouette losing its line.
