Material Composition
100% viscose. Viscose is a semi-natural fiber derived from plant cellulose - it shares many performance characteristics with cotton (breathability, comfort against the skin) while offering superior drape and a softer surface that works well for floor-length silhouettes. At this weight it is opaque without lining and drapes fluidly through the tiered skirt. Viscose is more delicate than cotton when wet and benefits from cold water washing to maintain its hand and prevent excessive shrinkage. The tonal tassel trim is also viscose-based from image analysis, matching the fabric tone across all five colorways.
Construction Details
Deep V-neckline with tonal tassel trim running the full length of both front panels. Short sleeves with tassel trim at the hem edge. The waist is smocked - rows of elastic gathering create the fitted waist section, which accommodates a significant range of measurements per size (the S, for example, lists a waist range of 21.1 to 43.3 inches according to product data). Below the smocked waist, the skirt is tiered with multiple horizontal seams creating layers through the A-line silhouette; the bottom tier hem is finished with tonal tassel trim. Floor length at approximately 50-53 inches depending on size. Not lined.

Care Instructions
Machine wash cold, tumble dry low. Cold water washing is particularly important for viscose - it minimizes the fiber swelling that can lead to shrinkage and preserves the soft hand of the fabric over time. Low heat drying protects both the viscose and the elastic in the smocked waist section. Expect the fabric to soften further with repeated washes.
