80% Rayon, 20% Nylon. Rayon is a semi-synthetic fiber made from wood cellulose - it drapes fluidly, feels soft against the skin, and absorbs dye well, which is why it's well-suited to printed garments like this one. The 20% nylon component strengthens the weave, helping the fabric resist tearing and maintain its integrity through regular wear and washing. Together the blend creates a lightweight, fluid fabric that moves with the body and holds its print color reliably. No stretch; the woven construction holds its shape without give.
Construction Details
V-neckline opening into a button front closure that runs the full length of the dress, bordered by a decorative lace trim placket on each side. Smocked (shirred) yoke at the upper chest - the gathered elastic construction creates texture and draws the fabric in at the chest, providing shape on an otherwise relaxed babydoll silhouette. Short sleeves finish with a ruffled cuff detail. The skirt falls from the bodice in a relaxed A-line and ends in a tiered ruffle hem that adds volume and movement at the bottom.
