Material Composition
The upper bodice is 96% cotton, 4% spandex in a ribbed knit construction. The cotton provides natural breathability and a soft hand feel, while the 4% spandex gives the ribbed knit just enough stretch to conform to the body and stay in place as a strapless design. The lower skirt is 100% cotton in a woven construction - no stretch, full breathability, and the natural weight that allows the gathered skirt to hold its volume without collapsing. Both sections are predominantly cotton, making the full garment naturally breathable.
Construction Details
Strapless tube top bodice in ribbed cotton knit - no straps, no boning, no padding. The bodice relies on the slight stretch of the ribbed knit to stay in place. At the natural waist, the ribbed knit meets a gathered 100% cotton woven skirt - the gathering creates volume in the skirt that falls full and above the knee. The silhouette is a classic fit-and-flare - fitted above the waist seam, full and free below it. The waist seam is the structural point of the dress where the two fabric types join. No closure visible - likely a pull-on design with the stretch of the bodice allowing entry. Not lined.

Care Instructions
Machine wash cold, tumble dry low. Cold water protects both cotton fabrics from shrinkage - important with a combined-fabric garment where uneven shrinkage could affect the waist seam or the fit of the bodice. Low heat drying is standard for cotton knit to prevent the ribbed bodice from losing its shape.
